Public Computers & Printing
The Public Libraries of Saginaw provides free access to high-speed internet as well as Microsoft Office 2016 on our public computers. All public computers are connected to black and white laser printers. Print jobs are 15¢ per page.
Chromebooks & iPads
Thanks to a grant from the Federal Communications Commission's Emergency Connectivity Fund, our libraries are now circulating Chromebook computers and iPad tablets!
Each device includes a power cord and case and has a three-week checkout period. Like books, the devices may be renewed up to two times. Unlike other circulating library materials, Chromebooks and iPads may not be reserved or put on hold for patrons.
Patrons are only able to check out one Chromebook or iPad at a time. They cannot check out both devices at the same time.
Borrowers must have a valid Public Libraries of Saginaw card in good standing and sign a Chromebook/iPad Borrowing Agreement at checkout. Borrowers are responsible for costs associated with the damage, loss, or non-return of Chromebooks, iPads, or any of their components.
Public Wi-Fi
All four Public Libraries of Saginaw branches have public Wi-Fi access points that extend our wireless Internet signal beyond our walls. Users can access this public Wi-Fi 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Document Scanning
Each branch provides a document scanner for public use. This service is free of charge.
Mobile Printing
The Library provides wireless printing from laptops, tablets and smartphones. Mobile prints are available in black and white only and cost 15¢ per page.
