Week Calendar

A new craft activity pack will be available every Friday from the Children's Department at Hoyt Library.  Supplies are limited and most are geared towards ages 4-12 but with help almost any age can enjoy.  

Murder, mystery, deceit, oh my! A gentleman has been murdered. Can you figure out who has committed this terrible crime before the RMS Titanic makes it to port?

Share a story with a certified therapy dog! The dogs and their handlers will be visiting the library to give people an opportunity to interact with them and read to the dogs.

This guided tour of the Hoyt Library will give you a backstage look at the areas of the library where ghostly activity has most often been reported. And who knows? Maybe you'll leave with a ghost story of your own... Space is limited.

A first computer class for those who have never touched a computer. Basics of hardware, software, getting online, and security.

EXPLORE, CREATE, IMAGINE! The FUN ZONE is an hour of educational play including Magic Nuudles, light table play, Bot maze, Contraptions set play and so much more!  For ages 5-12. Children under age7 need an adult helper.
