Saginaw County Health Department: Hearing and Vision Screenings

The Saginaw County Health Department will be at Zauel Library on Tuesday, June 11 during Tales for Twos storytime to be available to check the hearing and vision of children in attendance.

Your child’s hearing & vision impacts their success in school. An undiagnosed hearing problem may impact your child’s ability to pay attention or follow directions. An undiagnosed vision problem may affect your child’s ability to read and learn.

Have your child’s hearing and vision tested by your local health department beginning at age three and again just before the
start of kindergarten. The earlier a problem is identified, the sooner it may be corrected and permanent damage may be prevented.

These services are provided FREE of charge.
