Pajaki Chandelier Take & Make!

Stop by Hoyt Library on Saturday, December 14th to pick up a Pajaki Chandelier Take & Make Kit! Pajaki (pronounced "pah-yonk-ee") are a colorful folk art mobile made in Poland, with versions all over Eastern Europe. Traditionally, they were made from straw, paper, feathers, and dried peas. This Take & Make version is more modern, using cardstock, drinking straws, and pom poms. Pajaki were made to hang from the ceiling during winter festivities and special occasions.

Kit includes everything needed to make your very own Pajaki Chandelier! Suitable for all ages, but younger children may need adult assistance.
