Program Description

Description

Our book for April is the play Medea by Euripides.  Medea is a witch who takes a horrific revenge on her husband when he tells her he is leaving her.  Get a good bottle of Greek wine and read it all in one sitting, and imagine it is being performed for you!

Join us for a lively discussion of a book about Greek Mythology!  Try to reserve your copy from the library, or order your copy of the book from a site like Amazon or similar and come to the meeting with questions, comments, observations, or just have the book with you!  No pressure, and a good time learning about mythology is guaranteed!
